BACKGROUND
I'm a Seattle based entrepreneur and photographer. My family is originally from the beautiful Kashmir valley by the Himalayan range. By day, I'm immersed in the digital age, pioneering human productivity through artificial intelligence. During golden hour, you'll find me chasing light with my trusty camera and lens.
My journey with photography began in the darkroom back in college after taking a black and white photography course at the University of Wisconsin, where I studied computer science.
STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY
I enjoy taking photographs using natural light, recently been focusing more on wildlife, travel and landscape photography.
EQUIPMENT
For wildlife encounters, I primarily use a Canon R1 with 200mm and 600mm prime lenses to avoid disturbing animals. The versatile 28-70mm joins me when the scene demands flexibility and for landscape photography.
When wandering city streets or traveling to new destinations, I use a Leica M240 paired with either a 24mm or 35mm lens—because sometimes the best technology is the one that gets out of your way.
